The public transport network covers the entire city of Munich, so it is easy and quick to reach every point of the city, so much that the use of the car is not necessary. Here is the complete map of the underground city.
Who should arrive by plane can buy tickets at the airport. In the central area, marked by the letter Z, you can find the S-Bahn station that leads to town. Here there is a counter of the German Railways (Deutsche Bahn), where you can buy the ticket, or combination of tickets: just ask (the employees speak not only German but also an excellent English) to get the best combination. If you are at least two people (up to 5 people is the same price) price A/R from airport plus three days ticket costs about 35-40 euros.

The subscription for one day (up to 6.00 am the following morning) in zone 1 (all the city center) for one person (the first yellow button down on the left) costs EUR 5,-.
The subscription for one day (up to 6.00 am the following morning) in zone 1 (the entire city center) for 2 up to 5 persons (the first yellow button from above, right), costs EUR 9,-. Of course people should always travel together...
The subscription for three days (from date of stamping until 6.00 am the morning of the fourth day) in zone 1 (all the city center) for one person (from fifth yellow button, left), costs EUR 12.30.
The subscription for three days (from date of stamping until 6.00 am the morning of the fourth day) in zone 1 (the entire city center) for 2 up to 5 people (fifth button from the yellow, right), costs EUR 21-. Of course people should always travel together...
