Arriving from Italy through the Brenner the fastest way is obviously to continue on to Innsbruck and then continue in the direction of Munich from Kufstein and Rosenheim. You would however need to buy the Austrian motorway sticker for EUR 7.70 (amount valid for 10 days) and a second sticker EUR 8, - (one way) for the Brenner-Innsbruck motorway.
An alternative route, which allows you to not pay the Austrian highway, saving about 30 km of road and is much more rewarding from a business point of view, provides the output from the Brenner Pass, continue on the road (pay attention to the Austrian police, knowing that many Italians square speed over a distance of even 30 km!) to Innsbruck, crossing the city towards the airport, then continued towards Seefeld, then entry in Germany and continued trough Mittenwald, Garmisch-Partenkirchen then and finally, the A95 motorway (free) in the direction of Munich.
Said between us, this highway, about 80 km long, it resembles more a race track than a road: little traffic, mostly straight, there are very few sections with speed limits and so it is ideal for a "little fun"...!
To those who decide to get to Munchen by car we recommend you to read these tips on how to drive in Germany.
The airlines are Lufthansa and Alitalia, but there are also low cost airlines arriving in Munchen or in the not too distant cities such as Salzburg, Augsburg, Nürnberg and Stuttgart.
Here are the links:
You obviously can reach Munchen by train, and if you make your booking early you can find tickets for EUR 29, - for one way. All information is available on the websites of the Italian and German railways:
If you can not find tickets at 29 euros try to buy a ticket from the start until one of the last stations in Italy, Bolzano or Vipiteno type, and then another ticket from that station to Munich. In doing so the rates of Austria and Germany, far greater than those of Italy, will be applied only in the last part of the journey.
Many guests will drive by and probably there will be lot of seats available. Who would find it difficult to come by train or plane can contact us and we will put you in contact with those who will have spare seats available in their car.
